Local Guides
Larry has been guiding as a full-time guide for over 33 years! Generally spending over 300 days a year on the water. Ice fishing is one of his favorite types of fishing because of the challenges of dealing with Mother Nature. Lance has over 12 years of guiding experience, is excellent with people, and is an outstanding fisherman.
Location & Lodging
The majority of our ice guiding is located on the mud flats of Lake Winnebago. We will take you out from the western shore but move to the eastern shore depending on ice conditions and fish movement.
We do not provide lodging, but here are some great locations on the lake that we would recommend!
Heated Ice Houses
All of our ice houses are hard houses. We have over 17 permanent houses allowing groups to stay together. Well insulated and comfortable. Most are designed for 3-5 people. We can accommodate up to 30 people in total.
Vexilars
We supply all of the electronics which mainly consist of vexilars. We do have forward-facing sonar when needed.
Heated Tip ups
On the days when it's needed, we also run heated tip-ups like the bite-me-boxes.
Transport
We transport you and your group out to the ice houses and back. We prefer nobody to drive their own equipment on the lake. Our main transport vehicle is heated and designed to float in case of an emergency.
Ice Rods and bait
All the ice houses are equipped with several different rods with a great selection of lures we provide. We supply all the live bait!
Fish
Our primary targeted species are walleyes, perch, crappies, and whitebass. We also fish eelpout/lawyers.
Food
We do not supply food or drink, so make sure to bring enough along! We can supply a grill on request!
